Amping up high tech manufacturing skills

Larry Adkins, who has been employed by JLG for around nine years, was one of the many who attending the opening to explore what these new training opportunities can offer to advance his career.

Both adult workers and high school students will are finding new opportunities to learn new skills in advanced manufacturing at our Wayne County Career Center.

A crowd participated in the ribbon cutting on Thursday, October 27 as a new facility added at the Career Center comes on line. RAMTEC stands for Robotics and Advanced Technology Education Collaborative. State funding assistance has now placing more than 20 of these centers around Ohio.
